It appears the next Battlefield four will be announced on March 26th at an EA event.

Some brief dot points:
- Destruction 4.0 for much more destruction
- PC Lead platform
- Frostbite 2.5 engine
- Dynamic weather effects

China appears to be a heavily featured locale, with them as a playable team as well.
Commander system will be making a return (Yes!!!)

Again, these are (seemingly well sourced) rumours.

Wow that was pretty fucking epic! I never finished the SP on BF3 but it looked very half arsed compared to that!
Yeah only SP but fuck the graphics looked amazing and the game play looked really good.
Very realistic looking but very un realistic by the looks of it as far as what you can survive but i guess most FPS games are teh same in that regard.
Cool how you can drive around like how you can in MP i dont remember seeing much of that in the BF3 SP.
So, who's already pre ordered it?

Dunno i dont think but you can get from Ozgameshop for like $50-$60. Free shipping, but i guess that means possibly waiting two weeks to be able to play. I cant remember if they sell digital actually, i'll have to look into that.

The Premium expansion pack I think is like how we got back to karkand with bf3.

From leaked posters at shop fronts, the expansion is called "Drone Strike", but that is all that is known.

Beta access is given to everyone who bought BF3 Premium (hehe, and the silly people who bought MOH).

I think if you buy this in EB in australia, you get physical dogtags as a bonus too.

For a game I know I'd spend a few hundred hours or more on, I'll probably end up buying it on the origin store, not wanting to have delays for the opening stopping me from getting in to play it.

The live stream today has been amazing to watch, learned so much!

The knife is customizable.
There is a proper spectator mode, with freecam (move the camera anywhere), Third person, and first person available.

I thought the advertising banners looked awesome!

I love the idea of the Active radar missiles, if they are true. Makes dodging stuff possible, but if you can pull it off it's more rewarding/skill based.

Watched a couple of the vids. Looked a combination of awesome , more of the same(has to be expected i guess) and maybe some bad. Cool that commander is back. That chick in the vid made me wanna fap (lol).
I've moved house again. Currently running wireless internet and theres prolly gonna be like 2-4 people using the same internet conection at the same time sometimes(theres three pcs set up here and a lap top i think) so playing with a decent/ping may be a challange.
So, the games out in like October or November, right?

This is a very long video that is captioned , and an interview with Patrick Bach, one of the devs.

Some things he confirmed or talked about:

The factions are choosable by the server for each map. In other words, you could have US and Russia, China and US - up to you to decide. You can also alter the starting vehicles in a server too.
