Curious to see what it was like and got it cheap ($60 for key that's non vpn and steam) - had a suprisingly fun time! Not taking it serious though.

funk the servers are dedicated, there really isnt a host player as far as i know, it isnt peer to peer like mw2, so have no idea what your mate is on about, you just can't hire your own server to manage, you can however host a custom game, if the host leaves that it's game over i think.

My thoughts so far
it runs really well, better frame rate than black ops 1, im getting 50 fps at full graphics, i barely pulled that on minimum spec on blops 1
hit reg is the best of any cod game ive played,
have some weird server lag (not fps lag, or ping) on the first night, but its been fine since
the pick 10 feature with create a class is really cool, makes for some awesome combinations
