Yeah, that's right NubNubs, it is coming, it's got a better concept that WoW, not to mention will be filled with real geeks rather than 12 year olds, like this WoW or BF2 business.

Real geeks = 40 year old guys not unlike the guy from the South Park episode having a dig @ WoW

It does look very nice. Pity about the release date, end of next year.

Can't believe how long it's been since I posted this thread.

Anyway, thread revival... turns out a release date has been announced, Feb 2010 and some funky box art has been done...

I have been loosely following the development, and I can't really fault Cryptic for anything just yet, won't really be able to tell until the closed beta finishes.

Cryptic have done really well, in the terms of all the Diehards saying shit like Nope thats wrong do it again,
They have handeled both sides really well, and the dev team gives frequent updates which is win.

I am not playing it due to me having some value on the social life that I have (it's not much but I'd prefer to keep it), and I'd have to buy a lifetime sub, and I'm too cheap at the moment for that.

Fuck, that blokes voice would turn you off food.

In fact, I think it has.

Anyway, what he said was but two weeks after the game was released, I've only been playing for the last 8 hours, but I'd say it's worth it.

Hmm so i see Nero and Marshal play this, Vllth ended up getting it and has been trying talk me into playing it with him and now kem is also addicted to it(i hear he's forking out $300 for a life time membership???)
Anyways, i have purchased this. I have not downloaded or installed yet, i have to make room on my SSD(might delete that crappy section 8 game) but i am also FAR too addicted to Dragon age to play anything else right now.
iam keen to have a looksy though, but having said that, Duke Nukem forever and a fuck load of xbox games are on the way in the mail as we speak and i just got a copy of Total war shogun 2 off a work mate! *sweatdrop* decisions decisions.
Oh and wow old thread, i have since watched all 7 seasons of DS9 and also 5 seasons of voyager and am downloading season 6 now. Am i now a trekie?

EDIT: oh, and why the fuck am i "junior"?????
