Enduwolf's Application

Postby Enduwolf » Fri Apr 20, 2012 3:13 pm

Name: Jamie
Age: 27
Previous games experience: Plenty. I played a fair amount of BF2 (http://www.bf2stats.net/player/115177909/) as well as BF1942 and BFV, although not online. UT, UT2K4 and UT3 too. Plenty of World of Tanks, playing in STOMP as a squad leader; also far too many years of WoW, playing every level of guildmate from helpful colleague to omnipresent leader.
Stats:http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/soldier/Enduwolf/stats/361882744/
Tell us about yourself: My personal life is pretty standard. I work in advertising as a writer, I play a lot of games, spend time with my fiancee and young son, read a lot of books and barely watch TV because I prefer games.

My playstyle is one of contribution – I play for the win, not to get my name to the top of the board (although BF3's massive increase in teamwork and objective related points means that I'm usually well above the line). I generally roll as Engineer for the versatility and have pretty much fully unlocked every class. Full unlocks in MBT and AA too, and a decent way through Attack Chopper.

As for availability, I do play other games, so will be around basically when I feel like it. However, if I was to be participating in a clan event, I'd be there with bells on. I seek to join the clan for good players to team with – I played a night a while back with you guys on the Ministry of Gaming server, where an acquaintance of mine is an officer. Squadded with Roach and some others, we dominated the home team.

What ladders are you looking to play in? (Note some may be more stricter for joining)None particularly. If there was an open spot and you wanted me, I'd bring my A game.

Other information? I'll likely hop on your Mumble tonight to have a chat and hopefully some rounds, depending on the availability of my best mate, Sgtworm. If not, I'll make time over the weekend.

Roach is on my friends list, so if you want to ask me something, that's probably the best option.

Grats again mate. I'm tying the knot this June.

I've been on the last couple of nights, talking to Shift and had a bit of a play with bigfoot and... someone. Was good, despite the server crashes :?

Haha, deciphered to my original name Endu!

Congratulations on the wedding, hope all goes well for you too!

By this rate, soon I wont be the youngest in the clan, but the only one not married :)

I realised while we were driving our tank around Kharg last night that there's another game and clan I should have mentioned – I played a generous amount of World of Tanks with STOMP, who were apparently going to platoon BF3 as well. I was a squad leader with them.

I heartily recommend the game too. Good fun, although there's no canister rounds.

Hehe, I think skitz and a few used to play world of tanks a while back, but then it had lots of premium addons or something?

But yeah I've seen enough, your very heartily welcomed in and thanks for hanging in there too while I was away. So chuck on the tags, and we'll be sorting out our ladders shortly. We're eager to have a go on them again.

Wow, 'I've seen enough' is ominous. I'm revising my image of you to more of a mob boss.

But thanks guys, I'm glad to be aboard. You ever need a driver/medic/pilot, let me know! See you on the field
