Welcome to H*EA*T. We have fun playing games like Battlefield.

Awesome Helicopter Pilot

It’s rare to see helicopters fly anywhere near as crazy as what you see as in Battlefield, but this video which appears to be from the 1990′s makes me very jealous that I did not catch something like this.

For example, he lands a heli and still flies it towards someone, and tilts the blades down. Scary stuff.

Planetary Annihilation

Waking up today, this was the last thing I would have expected to happen…

Total Annihilation is getting another spiritual sequal!

BF3: New Armored Kill Screenshots

At the beginning of Gamescom this year, EA hosted a great set of press events for all their games. So while I waited patiently through hockey, soccer and various other games (Need for speed Most wanted looked good…), we finally got some more Battlefield 3 information.

The next expansion pack is due to be released for premium users on September the fourth for us Aussies. This likely means normal users can buy it separately two weeks after.

Apologies to low bandwidth users with the following images!

Five total pictures are available, check here to see the rest.

The other news was a brief showing of Aftermath, the setting where a earthquake has ravaged the levels we will be playing on. Massive holes in buildings and vertical play look to be featured, and fingers crossed we will be able to trigger even more destruction.

Like to see someones recording from the stream of the new content? Sure why not zoidberg!

The new maps and sneak peaks begin at 40 seconds if you are impatient.

BF3: Loadouts in battlelog

It seems like Dice have been listening to requests, with a feature on a list of things users would love to see (besides the usual Battlerecorder calls) is the ability to change settings outside of the game.

This is now partially possible, with the addition of a new loadouts option inside battlelog, the component of Battlefield 3 that you can use without running the game.

This was a feature that seemed to sneak in todays Origin update, and is very welcome.

Battlelog Loadout editing

The main panel of the new Loadout option in battlelog.

Using this, you can individually edit what your weapon choices are for each class, pictured is the Assault and Engineer.

Editing your loadout is easy and fun, with toggling between them back and forth one way, or otherwise you can click on an item to have the full list pop up with it’s description.

Once your changes are made, You will need to click on the Apply button on the top left of your screen.

Great fun, and a nice way to show off your kits!

At this current moment, it’s unknown whether editing this while ingame will have an effect.
